Just about every child has performed the exercise of tracing a friend’s outline on a big piece of paper and then using the resulting drawing as the starting point for an artwork.
And just about everyone, child or adult, has dreamed of what it would be like to fly through space, unhindered by gravity. Cleveland artist Olga Ziemska has used those two inspirations as the basis of a large public art project that will be installed starting Thursday in the new Roe Green Center for the School of Theatre and Dance at Kent State University… (go to article)
